4309   British Commonwealth, A Mint and Used Diverse Collection and Accumulation with Many Better Singles and Sets, 19th and 20th Century, This holding has many worthwhile components and begins with a solid collection of Bechuanaland neatly hinged on 20 quadrille pages comprised of mint and used and includes the Protectorate with many better singles and sets, Next is a mint and used collection of always popular Brunei with mainly mint and some used stamps mounted on 12 quadrille pages and it includes sets, pairs, singles, blocks and extra shades, we note Scott 14B-37A two mint sets at $242. each and much more all with a significant Scott value, Great Britain is all mint and contains multiple pages on Black stock sheets of all Mint King Edward VII issues of 1902-1911 with varieties including shades and papers followed by a page of Seahorses which includes Mint Scott 173, 173b (Waterlow printing), 173d (DeLaRue printing) 179a, 179c N.H., 180 (2 copies one N.H.), Papua New Guinea is present mint and used with emphasis on the Lakatoi issues on 12 quadrille pages from 1901-1966, Seychelles is very strong with some better duplicates as it is both an extensive and a quite comprehensive collection. It begins with a nice group of quality Queen Victoria issues Scott 1//37 from 1890-1902 including Type I and Type II stamps as well as 16 different surcharged values and we note 4 different "Specimen" overprints, Up next is Seychelles in 8 well packed Vario Black Stock pages, Primarily all mint and again beginning with Queen Victoria issues followed by the three kings and Q.E. II singles and sets and loaded with better issues with much as the later issues Never Hinged, Next is a used section of Seychelles from 1890-1979 with numerous better items. A Collection of South Africa with mint pairs and blocks of the 1926-1954 Pictorial Issue which are mainly N.H. issues and includes shades and varieties, Southern African Countries have used Cape of Good Hope with some Triangles and Natal, Orange Free State and Transvaal in profusion. And lastly an accumulation of British North America on black stock pages with Prince Edward Island being the star and some Nova Scotia and New Brunswick as well, Condition is mainly Fine to Very Fine with some faults usually on the 19th century issues. The mint has a few no gum and o.g. and N.H. as well. An excellent amount of key stamps makes this a desirable lot. A very high Scott value.
