2407   imageDanzig, Parallel Collection with Nearly Complete Mint & Used, 1920-39, Housed in a Lighthouse album with all stamps in black mounts and duplicate pages for both mint & used. The pages for postage dues are only here for the mint, but other than that, the only major entry missing for either mint or used is #48. And if you're looking for varieties listed in the Scott Classic, they are almost all here including burelage with points up and down, upright vs. sideways watermark, and the paper varieties of the 1924-37 Coat of Arms issue. There's even a used #12 with inverted overprint which is not even listed in Michel, yet it bears a Dr. Dub signature. And what's especially nice about the used collection is that many of the better are signed, such as 25b, 28c, 30c, 40, 43, generally Fine to Very Fine, viewable in its entirety online via a video flip. 2431   imageItalian States, High Catalog Accumulation, About 200 stamps on stock sheets and black cards; strongest material is Roman States with seven certificates, multiple signatures, and at least 25 stamps cataloging $200-and-up including a Fine ½b #1a with part o.g. and two certificates, and 2b bisect on cover (#3c). Other than the Roman States, much of which is generally Fine, the condition is mixed, as usual and most of the better unused stamps are without gum. Still a worthwhile lot with many nice or nice appearing stamps. Shipping charges apply - weight 1 lbs.

2432   imagePapal/Roman States Collection, 1801-68, Starts with more than 25 covers, nearly all of which are pre-stamp; then we note a First Issue 5b Postal Forgery on an 1855 folded letter (Sass. F5, 1,000€); the stamps are basically complete used except for the 1sc #11 (though there is a certified forgery) and generally Fine (#10 has a sm thin; two other noteworthy items are an 1850 8b diagonal bisect on piece ($8,000 for a cover, but not guaranteed), and a used 1867 3b on lilac gray (13a, $2,150, but with no margin; also included are a number of reprints (marked as such) and a few Cinderellas. Scott for the listed material is about $5,000 with no value added for the stampless covers. An interesting. Shipping charges apply - weight 4 lbs. (Video for this lot) (Image)
