Some better earlier mint material, like #242 (4), 352a (4), B80 (6), B116 (2), B119, B131 (3), B132 (4), B143 (4), B144 (2), B178, B206 (2), and just a few used, but no one is complaining because it's 160a, 352a, B80, B105, B144 (2), B178, B206; nevertheless, the emphasis is on the modern era, with many items in duplication but not crazy amounts, normally just one or two extras. One book can be viewed online, but be sure to check out our other offerings, as this is just part of the vast holdings from a former stamp dealer on the West Coast, whose meticulous work in organizing and identifying each item, along with condition and catalogue value, makes this an ideal lot for the reseller as all the work has already been done, Fine to Very Fine, total cat just shy of $8,000. LotNo. Symbol CatNo. Lot Description
2954   imageVenezuela, "Gloria al Bravo Pueblo!" Awe-inspiring Mostly Mint Holding, 1859-2000, Five stockbooks of various sizes along with five binders of Vario stocksheets; extremely comprehensive coverage of both the fine and course impressions of the first Coat of Arms series with multiple four-margin copies in both mint & used condition, and this holding continues to flex its muscles throughout the 19th century, from the 1865 Coat of Arms issue with numerous inverted overprints to the various Simón Bolivar series and beyond with many in blocks and numerous stamps with accompanying certificates. Moving into the modern era, the excitement doesn't end there; not only is the stock far superior to what we have seen in recent memory, but you will also find a lot of unlisted material, such as abundant imperfs or pairs imperforate between, shifted or inverted overprints, coil strips with control number, and an entire binder of back-of-the-book which includes not only extensive airmails, but also officials, postal fiscals and an incredible selection of locals, and all this with the vast majority never hinged and arranged in Scott catalogue order. A truly great lot in every respect, and you can view a good chunk of it with three binders viewable in their entirety online via scans and video flips, overall Fine to Very Fine, ex Sunset Island.
