2662   imageKorea, Alluring Mostly Mint Holding, 1897-1999, Mostly in glassines but also on counter pages and "102" cards, extensive stock with hundreds of souvenir sheets and better stamps with very welcome duplication. A sampling of premium material includes mint #80-84 (2), 88-89 (3), 290a (6), 296a (5), 301a (9), 433a (7), 492a (20), 794b, and a couple of hundred full sheets from the 1970s to 90s. Also, a number of publications from the Korean government, such as a hardcover bilingual stamp album with nearly every stamp from 1949-51 pasted onto the page including the entire set of 42 Flags (132-73), a special commemorative booklet honoring the state visit of U.S. President Ford in 1974, a hardcover edition in slipcase featuring all the stamps and souvenir sheets issued for the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul, and two publications from the Ministry of Communications, one, a beautiful mint collection entitled Postage Stamps Bearing Famous Paintings which appears to have all the stamps and souvenir sheets from this popular early 1970s issue, and the other, a folder of mint stamps and souvenir sheets commemorating the 1st Anniversary of the May 16th Revolution. Just a tiny bit from the DPRK, otherwise entirely south of the 38th parallel. Extremely high catalogue value, and overall Fine to Very Fine, personal inspection encouraged.
