1051 ogbl 81a image1872, Hidalgo imperf, 6c green, "LA + F" watermark (Scott 81a), block of eight stamps in a part-sheet of 49 (a 50th stamp added for symmetry, the other 41 stamps being unwatermarked (Scott 91); Mazatlán district overprint, consignment no. 26-74; position 13-14/43-44 show "L A + -" reading down, position 43 only showing a small portion of the "-"; bright and fresh with o.g. and a few hinge remnants, but the watermarked stamps are never hinged(!); there are seven vertical creases including one along each side of the watermarked block, well clear of the stamps, and a horizontal crease between the third and fourth rows, with a short scissor cut between stamps 43/44, Very Fine, with a 1981 M.E.P.S.I. certificate.
