1631   imageWorthwhile Farley's Follies Collection, including singles, line pairs, position blocks, horizontal and vertical and crossed gutter blocks, plate blocks (1 to 4 each; mostly 2-3 per issue), complete sheets including Nos. 727-729, 733, 737-739, 740-749, CE1 & CE2 with extra No. 740 with small appendage in corner from foldover, also includes blocks of 50 of Nos. 766 & 767 and blocks of 4 panes of 6 of Nos. 768-770, also includes 45 cacheted first day covers including Nos. 740-749 & 756-765, many shade varieties and a few plate varieties, and Nos. 745 (2), 748 (2) and 749 imperforate Never Hinged PSE graded 90 taken from the original special printing given to FDR's Secretary of Interior Harold Ickes that was prepared by Farley for Roosevelt and a small circle of his friends. Ickes requested, and the BEP consented, to have his sets of imperforate sheets gummed (he received two complete sets), giving some to Roosevelt and friends, with copy of letter by Ickes about these stamps, Very Fine to Extremely Fine, see everything online.
