1118 cover 1929.1107 image1929 USS Akron (ZRS-4) cover signed Moffett, Litchfield and Arnstein, signatures at bottom left on cover franked by intact 1c booklet pane (Scott No. 498e) with two strikes of "Akron Ohio" oval cancel and tied by "Akron Ohio Nov. 7, 1929" duplex on cover to Teaneck NJ, blue "ZRS-4 Ring Laying Good Year Zeppelin Akron, Ohio U.S.A. Nov. 7, 1929" circle handstamp cachet at top left, addressed to Teaneck NJ with Nov. 2 receiving backstamp, Very Fine, Rear Admiral William A. Moffett was Chief of the U.S. Navy's Bureau of Aeronautics, while Paul W. Litchfield and Karl Arnstein were President and Vice-President of the Goodyear-Zeppelin Company and so much more.
