Hindenberg Related Material, three curious items found in a specialist's envelope marked "Hindenburg"; 9" x 4.5"
piece of coated fabric similar to material used to construct the hydrogen gas bags on the airship, there is a reinforced section that measures 4.5" x 1.5" embedded with the number "118" on it; 7" steel cable that has been joined with another piece by
tightly winding a very fine wire strand more than 100 times and then encasing it in resin; and lastly a pair of 11" brass tubes with a diameter of about 1/8", one has joint were it was bent and perhaps soldered; no provenance so it will require a
seasoned specialist to identify. (Image)
