311   imageNew Zealand, Mostly Used Collection in Album with Additional Mint & Used Premium, 1855-1967, Appearance was of little concern for this collector; it was under the hood what counts. All pages have pencil marks and many of the mounts in this hingeless Davo album doubled as a stockbook with multiple copies. The first two pages present an excellent array of Chalons all identified by Campbell-Paterson number and many better classics follow including plate, paper & watermark varieties into the QEII era. Also, approximately 20 covers, such as two first flight covers to London with C1-4, and a Ross Dependency cover with the first issue cancelled at Scott Base and backstamped "U.S. Navy - Operation Deepfreeze". Many $1000s more in catalogue value in glassines and on counter pages, from postal fiscals to gutter pairs, as well as a small pack of Falkland Islands and Iceland, and all of it highly organized with noted catalogue number and value, generally Fine to Very Fine, much of this lot can be viewed online. Shipping charges apply - weight 6 lbs. (PDF for this Lot) (PDF2 for this Lot) (Video for this lot) (Image)
