176   imageU.S. and Foreign, Eclipsing Collection of US, Canada & Japan, 1850s-1980s, a Trans-Pacific Partnership not to pass up, the US comprising a mostly mint two-volume Scott collection with many better, including #113, 231-232, 234, 286, 290, 294, 296, 656 line pair, 658-679, 834, 1053, Airs with #C18, PN1-PN18, etc.; Canada (with Provinces) in Scott Specialized album plus two file boxes of identified glassines, among which we find Newfoundland #11A used and Canada used #14, 28, 47, 59, 84 (very lightly cancelled), 96-103 (#96 mint, 97 unused, others used), 158-159, and mint #122, 135 vertical pair, 176 (well centered), etc., with a couple pages of mint and used Revenues and several year sets as extras; Japan features a Scott Specialized album (hit-and-miss filled, the pages pristine and running to 1985) with stamps starting #45, the earlies offering an array of cancels, mostly used to 1935, mostly mint thereafter, plus two file boxes—one mint, one used—of further goodies; a useful lot on many levels, Fine to Very Fine with much better, inspection invited. 181   imageU.S. & U.N., "Lighthouse Keeper" Never Hinged Collection in Premium Hingeless Albums, 1840-1999, Arguably the finest albums on the market today, three volumes of Lighthouse for the United States in excellent condition up to 1997, and the New York Offices of the United Nations up to 1999 (including Geneva & Vienna to 1981) in two volumes, each in their own slipcase. Moderately filled starter collections with considerable face value. Additional bonuses include four other binders (three of them Lighthouse) filled mostly with mint coils into the modern era with at least 150 PNC strips of five. Also, imperf pairs, like #1519a, 1520b, 2112a, 2281a, other errors, such as 538a (vert. pair imperf horiz.), 1895f (black omitted), 2045a (red omitted), as well as major misperfs and color shifts. In addition, a Legends of the West recalled sheet and a few dozen covers from stampless and advertising covers from the late 19th & early 20th century to modern covers with plate number coils.
