75   imageOfficials, A Rare Special Printing "Specimen" Overprints Advanced Collection, 1875. An exceptional collection of scarce and rare Official 1875 Special Printings including complete sets plus "Sepcimen and Inverted" Overprint errors and also rare multiples. Certainly, the finest intact collection of these desirable issues that we have ever offered. The collection begins with a complete set of Scott O1S-O9S of the Agriculture Specimens 1c-30c issues. Please note all 1875 Specimens were issued without gum. This is a fresh set with bright colors with most perforated on all sides, From the 3c value up the quantities sold were between 352 and 390 each. Next is an incredibly rare "Sepcimen" Overprint Error, Scott O2Sa. Brilliant color and fresh, a sound Fine copy of one of 10 known examples. Followed by 1c Executive, Soft Porous Paper, Scott 010xS, two reunited rare blocks of four, minor creases at right and left block is very fine. Another complete set of the very scarce 1c-90c Interior, Scott O15S-O24S, is a bright and fresh set with mainly intact perforations. The 3c and up values number between 75 and 88 sold, Justice 1c-90c, Scott O255-O345, a complete set also with fresh and bright colors has some scissors separations as is quite normal but with many intact perforations, quantity of the 3c and up values sold number a low 150-178. A complete set of the 1c-90c Navy, Scott 035S-045S, is next with attractive centering and vibrant fresh colors. The 90c Navy only had 102 copies sold making this another difficult set to complete. A rare holding of multiples of the 1c Navy in Soft Porous paper, Scott O35xS, including a margin block of nine with corner selvage plus five blocks of four and a pair are quite outstanding. A tremendously rare 1c Navy "Sepcimen" Error Scott O35Sa, with nice centering and three wide margins plus intact perforations is noteworthy, it has a tiny thin and is otherwise Very Fine with only a very few copies extant. Two copies of Scott O47Sa, 1c Post Office with "Sepcimen" Errors are present plus a scarce 1c Post office Inverted overprint, Scott O47Sb, are also included one side is scissor separated as it often comes on the few known copies. Altogether an extraordinary collection of these scarce issues with multiple complete sets. Singles often realize between 40% and 80% of Scott values so acquiring a collection of this size and scope at our estimate for a collector or dealer is a very unusual opportunity. Condition is well above the norm with only a few faults as these were all hand selected copies which the colors and freshness exhibit. Please check out the Photos or in-person to appreciate the quality. Shipping charges apply - weight 1.2 lbs.

76   imageOfficials, Exceptional, Almost Complete Collection, Including the Rare $20 State in Mint, 1873. A wonderful mainly mint collection of 105 different Officials including only 12 used stamps. A superb collection for online sales with Scott values up to the State $20, Scott O71, at $5000 with APS certificate and o.g. The unused has both original gum and no gum and also included the scarce $2 State in mint with o.g. and reperfed. Most issues are fresh with strong colors. All pages are photo'd, and viewing is a treat of this difficult to assemble collection. Certainly, a cost effective way to acquire a significant collection for pleasure or resale. Well worth serious consideration. Condition is generally Fine to Very Fine with some faults. It was acquired one stamp at a time by a serious collector. Shipping charges apply - weight 1.2 lbs.
