539   imageMexico, A Comprehensive Mainly Mint Large Collection, 1856-2003. A very desirable collection of several thousand primarily mint sets and singles with some used which is mainly in the 19th century. Quite strong in the first issues with numerous scarce stamps into the hundreds of dollars each. Quite a well packed album with the stamps neatly mounted on Scott page. A lot of 20th century including many better sets make this collection worth viewing as its resale potential is excellent. Condition is above the norm with most Fine to very Fine and only a few faults. A used Amelia Earhart Overprint, Scott C74 $4000 was not counted as it needs a certificate. Shipping charges apply - weight 6.8 lbs.
Scott $16,842 (Owner's). (PDF for this Lot) (Image)

540   imageMexico, "Yo quiero sellos!" Mostly Mint Holding in Glassines, 1856-1990, From the inventory of one of the largest stamp dealerships in California, six boxes of varying sizes with either glassines or "102" cards and a stack of envelopes with large blocks and full sheets folded in half. Some better individual items include used #1, 130, O58, O163, and mint 150a, 249, 251, 538, 632, 734, O13a, O16, 0131, 0167. But as collectors of Mexico (and Latin America in general) know, catalogue value and scarcity very often do not go hand in hand, and you'll find a lot of scarcer material here including a box with hundreds of revenues. Additional photos online but lot would be best assessed on-site, generally Fine to Very Fine. Shipping charges apply - weight 24 lbs. (PDF for this Lot) (PDF2 for this Lot) (Image)

541   imageMexico, Eclectic Mint & Used with Better Items Collection, 1866-1990. Housed in two Scott albums with hundreds of mint & used singles and sets all mounted in Scott pages, very good 19th century issues with many better stamps, noteworthy are the 1914 overprinted issue Scott 363-368 mint with two MEPSI certificates for 363 and 364 (genuine with slight thins) this issue alone has a Scott value of $6,660. The main value is the pre-1935 material. The owner's old Scott total was $30,958 for both albums however much has been removed so this number is not accurate although the Scott value will still be substantial. Condition is a bit mixed and generally Fine to very Fine with some faults. Our estimate takes into account the current value. Shipping charges apply - weight 9.4 lbs. (PDF for this Lot) (Image)
