3402	S	294S-299S	1901, Pan-Americans complete, overprinted "ULTRAMAR" (Scott 294S-299S), small blue handstamp used by Portuguese Postal Authorities on stamp distributed to their overseas colonies—Ultramar meaning overseas; this set, which is remarkably well centered, is mounted on part of the original ledger page from the Post Office of an unidentified Portuguese Colony, part o.g., Very Fine. One of only 35 sets received by Portugal and one of a very few surviving. Ex-Price. 3405		295-E	1901, 2¢ Pan-American, Photographic model used for the vignette (Scott 295-E), 70x55mm, marked manuscript "Empire State Express" and depicting the train upon which the vignette was based, Very Fine. A unique piece of Pan-American collateral; unlisted by Scott. Ex-Price. The subject is said to have been photographed by A. P. Yates of Syracuse while the train was travelling at 60 miles per hour.
