913   imageWorldwide, "Alphabet Soup" Mostly Mint Collection from A to Z, 1930s, Normally, these types of collections with a small sampling of stamps from every country and alphabetized from A to Z are dull and contain only minimal value stuff. As luck would have it, I opened the first binder directly to the page with an Ostropa sheet. Despite having some flaws, I knew this experience would be different, and I was correct in my assumption, as there is a plentitude of better material throughout. Highlights include mint Argentina #452, Australia 150-51, 152-54, Austria B128-31, B132-37, C32-46, Belgium B169, Canada 217-27, Ceylon 274, Cuba C16-17, France 299-305, B42-43, Ireland 93, Italy 345-48, 349-54, C79-83, Liechtenstein 119-25, C9-12, C14, Luxembourg B65M-65N, Nepal 38-43, New Zealand 185-98, 186Ab, Persia C51-64, C66, San Marino 172, 179-80, Somalia B38-51, South Africa 68-71, South West Africa B1-4, Vatican City 41-46, and used Australia 128, Persia C67, Russia C58-67. Many other nice sets & singles including what appears to be a complete set of the Silver Jubilee issue across the British Empire. This homemade collection in two volumes mounted on quadrille pages consists almost entirely of stamps from the 1930s, and it could be yours if the price is right, generally Fine to Very Fine, a virtual flip of the entire collection is viewable online. Shipping charges apply - weight 5.6 lbs. (Video for this lot) (Video2 for this lot) (Image)
