1862, 5c clear yellow green (Scott 10a), horizontal pair, two large margins, just touching at top & left, tied by one of two strikes of a mostly clear MILETO (Catania) c.d.s., 26 Sep 1862, on a folded cover to Catanzaro, backstamped Catanzaro the next day, Very Fine. A very rare early used of Sardinia stamps outside of Sardinia., signed Cardillo, with his 2018 "SPC" certificate noting that this is the only such usage that he has seen franked with a a pair of the 5c stamp.

1861, Neapolitan Provinces, 50g pearl gray (Scott 27), ample to large margins with fresh color, canceled with two partial strikes of the oval "Ufficio Postale/del Porto di Napoli"; very faint abrasion of the left margin (visible only in fluid); choice, Very Fine appearance. A most attractive example of this rare used stamp, with a 1958 Oliva certificate.
