2531   imageCanada, High Power Collection, 1859-1986, in three Lindner T albums with slip cases, containing the usual mixed mint and used among the early issues, but starting at the Jubilees, the collection elevates quality to mostly mint, with very high level of completion from the small Queens until the 1970's, where you start to see the occasional missing stamp until you get to 1986, around this time, the collector seems to have lost some interest because there are also stacks of postage still in glassines which are either duplicates or stamps that have not yet be integrated into the collection. Some noted highlights include, Canada: 14-15, 17-19, large Queens mostly complete with a few high values mint, mostly complete small Queens with occasional extra shades, 3c mint strip of 3, 46-47, from this point on, stamps are mint unless noted otherwise: Jubilee's mostly complete, only missing $2, the $5 is used, Queen Victoria (maple leaf and numerals) mostly complete, only missing a few stamps in the 3c-6c range, XMas 1898, complete Edward VII, Quebec Tercentenary complete with a few used duplicates, Admiral set complete with mostly complete coils and imperfs, commemoratives 1917-39 complete mint with only $1 Parliament and 50c Grand Pré used, air post and air post special delivery complete, overprinted officials are mostly complete with just a few of the later G issues missing, Special Delivery complete, F1-2, 1906-1935 postage dues complete and MR1-5, New Brunswick: a few pictorials, Newfoundland: 5p imperf flowers, 1866 mint pictorials, with 24, 26, 30, 1880 pictorials with 5c seal and 10c Schooner, Cabot to 6c, 1897 mint pictorial set, engraved Guy issues, 1911 Royal Family set, 1919 Caribou set, 1923 pictorial set, 1928 pictorial set with occasional re-engraved, 1932 pictorial set, 1933 Gilbert set, C2-C3, 1931 Trans-Atlantic airmails, 1933 airmail set. 2532   imageCanada, "Better than Poutine" Mostly Mint Holding, 1852-1993, Hey, I love poutine just as much as the next person, but given a choice, I would take this lot in a heartbeat! Two binders of stocksheets, but the real prize is a small counter book with through-the-roof catalogue value, and deservedly so, as many of these stamps are in better condition that what we are used to seeing, whether that's due to being nicely centered or fresh looking, or lightly cancelled in the case of used. Almost everything here is a highlight, and that includes mint #55 (2), 59, 61 (2), 63, 82, 84, 89, 92-93, 94 (3), 102, 116, 120-22, 123-24, 158 (2), 159, 269-73 (blocks of four), E1 (2), E2, MR2D, MR6, O1-10 (2) and a couple of Newfies, 11A & C13-17. Some exceptional used too, like 4, 27b (watermarked!), 28, 61, 62 (2), 158, F3. One binder is filled with panes & complete booklets, over 200 of them mostly different with such better as 104a, 105b, 106a, 107b, 108a, 109a, 149a, 195b, 196a, 197d, 218b, and a lot of face in the modern era. The other binder with some specialist material, for example, six plate proofs of the QV Maple Leaf issue in pairs and a 20¢ KEVII with specimen overprint, but quite a bit from the modern era too, like imperf pairs of 604, 729-30, 806, as well as perf & tagging varieties. 2533   imageCanada, Large Canadian Face Lot, 1935-86, One giant pile of mint Canada in the form of singles, blocks, miniature sheets, coil strips, booklets and plate blocks mostly in glassines. Did someone mention plate blocks? There's tons here and most come with all four plate positions; you'll even find dozens of sets from Canada Post, each with four inscription corner blocks and most still unopened. There are some items you might not want to use as postage, such as plate blocks of #211-13 & 215-16 in both varying plate numbers and positions and a full sheet of 508p-11p.
