2531   imageCanada, High Power Collection, 1859-1986, in three Lindner T albums with slip cases, containing the usual mixed mint and used among the early issues, but starting at the Jubilees, the collection elevates quality to mostly mint, with very high level of completion from the small Queens until the 1970's, where you start to see the occasional missing stamp until you get to 1986, around this time, the collector seems to have lost some interest because there are also stacks of postage still in glassines which are either duplicates or stamps that have not yet be integrated into the collection. 2532   imageCanada, "Better than Poutine" Mostly Mint Holding, 1852-1993, Hey, I love poutine just as much as the next person, but given a choice, I would take this lot in a heartbeat! Two binders of stocksheets, but the real prize is a small counter book with through-the-roof catalogue value, and deservedly so, as many of these stamps are in better condition that what we are used to seeing, whether that's due to being nicely centered or fresh looking, or lightly cancelled in the case of used. Almost everything here is a highlight, and that includes mint #55 (2), 59, 61 (2), 63, 82, 84, 89, 92-93, 94 (3), 102, 116, 120-22, 123-24, 158 (2), 159, 269-73 (blocks of four), E1 (2), E2, MR2D, MR6, O1-10 (2) and a couple of Newfies, 11A & C13-17. Some exceptional used too, like 4, 27b (watermarked!), 28, 61, 62 (2), 158, F3. One binder is filled with panes & complete booklets, over 200 of them mostly different with such better as 104a, 105b, 106a, 107b, 108a, 109a, 149a, 195b, 196a, 197d, 218b, and a lot of face in the modern era. Did someone mention plate blocks? There's tons here and most come with all four plate positions; you'll even find dozens of sets from Canada Post, each with four inscription corner blocks and most still unopened. There are some items you might not want to use as postage, such as plate blocks of #211-13 & 215-16 in both varying plate numbers and positions and a full sheet of 508p-11p.
