Turks Islands
LotNo. Symbol CatNo. Lot Description
2467   imageTurks Islands, Stunning Mostly Mint Collection, 1867-94, On just a few quadrille pages, a collection we rarely see is that of the Turks Islands, the majority of which are mint. Though what really sets this collection apart is the variety of the half-penny provisionals. There is a notation of the Scott number alongside each stamp and after a few spot-checks seems highly accurate. Some of the better unused as noted include #2, 4-5, 7-8, 9-10, 14, 16, 33-34, 37, 56, and used 3, 35, 56. Condition varies a bit but overall much better than what one is used to seeing for this time period, generally Fine to Very Fine, collection viewable in its entirety online.
