Three small ring binders with more than 240 pages of mid- to higher priced material, almost everything priced at $25-and-up; loaded with better stamps, the best including mint 3, 8, 12, 21c, 38, 40-42, 52, 54, 55 (short perfs), 57, 76 (3), 76a, 98, 100, 101, 124 (2 NH), 126, 127 (2), 132 (2), J33, J48 (2), J86-95 (2 NH), M1-7 (3, one NH), and used 12, 44 (2), 55, 56, 56a, 57, 101 (2), 102, 127, 128 (2), 132 (2), J48, J49, J62, and much, much more; it may be assumed that most stamps cataloging over about $500 or so, and a few lesser, have faults—though many are quite minor—but just about everything else is clean and F-VF with a lot of post-1950 NH. A truly outstanding lot. Owner's retail totals about $26,000! Shipping charges apply - weight 2.8 lbs. (Video1 for this lot) (Video2 for this lot) (Video3 for this lot) (Image)

2417   imageAustralia & Dependencies, Mint & Used Collections, 1913-98, Multiple collections, the highlight being an all-mint collection in four hingeless Lindner albums with slipcases. Looks to have a complete run from 1945-1990; only a few stamps here and there after that, but pages are up to 2000. Better include #6-7, 47a, 72b, 73a, 75, 76, 76a, 95a, 96-97, 127 (specimen), 144a, 150-51, 152-54, 179 (both types of paper), 218-21, 365-79, C4. Another well-filled album is a Scott up to 1998 with a mix of mint & used; very nice selection of Roos & KGV Heads including a used #129. Yet another collection, this one in a Minkus is Australia with Dependencies; sparce on the States, Cook Islands, Niue, and others, but even here you will encounter better material, such as a plate number block of Aitutaki #27. Thousands more on a stack of old album pages and a showbox with various mint sets, post office packs, booklets, and what not, overall Fine to Very Fine, additional images viewable online. Shipping charges apply - weight 43.4 lbs. (PDF for this Lot) (Video for this lot) (Image)

2418   imageAustralia, "The Walkabout Collection" of Mint & Used, 1913-2009, Mostly hinged, but with many mint stamps in mounts, an extremely well-filled collection into the 2000s with some stamps collected both mint & used. A very respectable representation of Roos & KGV Heads (perfins, plate varieties & inverted watermarks also included in scans); other better items include used #18, 142-44, 142a-44a, 149, 151, 177-179, 218-21, and mint 152-54, 450a-53a (as complete booklet), C1-5. The collection ends with a fascinating array of curiosities, from many more perfins, the majority of which are officials with perforated "OS", to revenues and Cinderella labels, such as ones produced for the Antarctic Expedition of 1954 and the Melbourne Olympic Games of 1956. You'll also find a mint & used collection of the Australian Antarctic Territory (1957-98), a binder of covers, and a stockbook crammed with a couple thousand mostly used duplicates, overall Fine to Very Fine. Shipping charges apply - weight 17.4 lbs. (PDF for this Lot) (Video for this lot) (Video2 for this lot) (Image)
