2391   imageGreat Britain, "The Bangers & Mash" Collection of Mint & Used with Covers, 1829-2010, Alright, perhaps the British were not the best in the kitchen, but they did revolutionize the postal system and produced some of the finest stamps ever made. Many of them can be found here. And for the record, I actually do like bangers & mash, even mushy peas! The collection is on hingeless Lighthouse pages, which would ultimately fill six binders but only three are present. It begins with a deluge of #1's, nine of them to be exact along with another in a commemorative folder issued by the London Mint and two more on cover. Other better used include 2, 3-4, 5-7, 22, 25, 27-28, 49-52, 55, 59-60, 64, 66, 70, 73, 87, 93 (cancelled but also with 'specimen' overprint, and signed), 94-95, 96, 98-105, 107, 108, 111-22, 124, 126, 127-40, 179-81, 209, 222-24, and an entire sheet of twenty of 268. After WWII, virtually complete and almost entirely mint. Numerous stampless covers, #2 on an 1841 cover, a mint & used Mulready and many other interesting items in two additional binders. As expected, condition will vary, but generally Fine to Very Fine, many additional scans & video viewable online. Shipping charges apply - weight 39.6 lbs.
