2150   imageGoodie Box Accumulation, 1850s-1990s, large box filled with all of the premium items which were culled out of a much larger accumulation. These are all of the better dealer cards, auction cards, sorting boxes, album pages and anything else which looked promising which one looks for when they are viewing a larger accumulation, but most of the bulk has been removed only leaving the cream to still refine. As we browsed through the highlights, we came up with an impressive list of items, but you should be aware, there are still many stamps not on this list, such as items which could not be easily identified or items which needed to go in for certificates. Highlights include, mint: 7, 24 (2), 112 (2), 113 (2), 114 (4), 115, 189, 207, 211, 214 (2), 216, 219DP5, 222, 230 (13, plate number pair and 5 blocks of four), 232, 233 (4), 234 (2), 235 (3 and block of four), 236 (7), 237, 238, 239 (4), 240, 264 (3 plate number strips of three), 268, 272 (2), 274, 275a, 276, 279 plate number strip of three, 281, 282C, 283, 286, 287, 288 (2), 294-99, 297 (2), 302 (3), 303, 306, 307 (3), 308, 309, 323, 326 (2), 327 (2), 328-30, 330, 339 plate number strip of three, 371 pair, 375a, plus several Vario pages filled with various identified Washington / Franklins, 400 (2), 430, 471, 528A strip of three, 537 in large blocks of 20 and 24, 571, 572 (2), 630 (2), 658-69, 666, 803-34, 3138 imperf Bugs Bunny, C3 (3), C4-6, C6, E1 (2), E1-6, E2, E5, E7, J22, J64 (6), O57, Q8, Q9, QE1a-QE3a plate blocks, 212S, 308S, 309S, 5156 (CF1) counterfeit pane, PC6-8 and used: 10A, 15, 20, 30A, 33, 70/78 (group of 3 stamps in shades), 77, 87, 89, 112 (8), 113 (34), 114 (35+), 115 (5), 116 (8), 117 (8), 118, 119 (12), 120, 121 (3), 160, 214 (2), 217, 218, 238 (3), 239, 240 (2), 292, O57, O59 and a small sorting box filled with unsorted Washington / Franklins including a section of (mostly Schermack) private vending coils, a group of lower denomination official specimens, etcetera. Condition and centering are both mixed, as you would expect to see in this bulky type of lot. We were careful not to include any obvious removed cancels in the highlight list, but occasional regums or removed cancels may slip through, so you should inspect as we did not have time to carefully examine or mention every single stamp. You will also find occasional attractive retail quality singles to fill in your inventory, Fine to Very Fine overall. Shipping charges apply - weight 14 lbs. 2151   imageLarge Accumulation of 19th and Early 20th Century, 1847-1920s, hundreds of black approval cards, accumulated over the years and roughly grouped together in a way that eases breakdown, filled with many better items, with huge numbers of stamps from the early classics, a couple #1's, plenty of 1851 imperf issues, including 3c shades with several #10's, many classic 1860's stamps mixed with different types of grills, which look the same on the face, but will need to be sorted, 70/78 in quantity of various shades including a few potential better shades, #75, 1869 Pictorials with several 15c including #118, several 121's, along with a strong contingent of banknotes of various papers up to several 90c's, 1890 Bureaus including a mint 228, Columbians huge quantities of mint and used issues including many mint and used higher denominations (15c-50c), plus a 243, many 1894-97 issue with quantities of many mint #265 and 266 singles, as well as 50c to $1 in quantity which will need to be checked over for better unwatermarked stamps, Trans-Mississippi many mint and used stamps to plenty of the 50c denomination, 312 and more. At first, we were writing this as our typical wall of numbers, but it occurred to us that the majority of the value would not be easily quantifiable with lists of better numbers as there are so many stamps in the mid value range, so we opted for a more general description to give you a taste of the contents. We thought it better to give this lot to our scanners to carefully video the entire lot, which will be available on our website. Unfortunately, we don't even believe this will be enough to adequately evaluate, so we strongly encourage you to view this lot if you have the chance as there is tremendous value is what cannot be easily communicated from a video or a written description. Lots of great potential with these types of lots, as there are often really great stamps hidden which sometimes only one lucky person sees to allow a chance at a real bargain. There are three smaller boxes filled with stamps are rolled into larger strips in medicine bottles and film canisters along with some occasional test coil rolls. There are priority mail envelopes packed with strips, a stockbook filled with coil strips of five from transports to the 32c denomination, album pages of earlier Washington / Franklins, etcetera. 2170   imageLarge Accumulation of Mint, Used & Covers, 1859-2005, Where to even begin? How about with the ten boxes of mostly used in glassines, but a considerable amount of mint too interfiled, the vast majority neatly arranged and labeled by Scott number. Two of these boxes house back-of-the-book with thousands of revenues, both here and other areas of this holding, like a stockbook of tobacco stamps, a folder of mostly 19-century revenues on documents, a shoebox of state revenues, mostly New York stock transfers, and much more, again very well organized and most everything clearly labeled. Now let's talk numbers, because there is also a lot of premium items to be found, such as mint #215 (block), 325, 400, 547 (block), 620 (plate block of eight), 621 (arrow margin block), 834 (arrow margin block), C1 (plate block of six), C5, C13, E9, RVB1-2 and used 113, 228-29, 238-39, 275-76, 288-90, 294-99, 310, 312, 323-27, 328-30, C1-2, C4-6, E7. And let's not forget covers which also makes up a good chunk of this lot, about 2,000 or so, probably more, and mostly FDCs from the 1930s on through the millennium. Many better, such as the Baby Zepp FDC out of New York, and other Zeppelin covers, like C15 on a Pan-American cover, numerous First Flights, even a Confederate States cover with #11. Many hundreds of pieces of postal stationery, some unused, others with first day cancel. Other items of interest include two large sheet folders with cancelled mini-sheets, a binder of souvenir pages, six annual mint sets from 1973-85, and unusual items too, like an entire booklet of tickets for the Democratic National Convention in 1928 in Houston. If you're feeling adventurous, you've found the right lot! overall Fine to Very Fine. Shipping charges apply - weight 105 lbs. (PDF for this Lot) (Image) (Image2)

2171   imageNew Year's Resolution Accumulation, 1850s-1980s, 30+ albums or stockbooks and over half a dozen small boxes, where the previous owner decided it was time for a little New Year's cleaning, so he took everything off of his desk and cleaned out the stamp closet, with the various small projects he was working on, put it all into several large boxes and handed it to us to sell. Inside, we found quite a bit of unsorted U.S. postage, some unused earlier U.S. duck stamps, some interesting 1899-1930's Canadian postal history with some interesting Admiral blocks on 1930's flight covers, many Farley and 1930's issues in quantities and more. We figured a conservative estimate to ensure these stamps find a good new home, so be sure to take a look to see how much more you can find here, generally Fine to Very Fine. 2181   imageLarge Accumulation Little Premium Stamps, 1920s-90s, in three large boxes (before repacking) filled with various flotsam and jetsam which one typically encounters in this business, filled with lots of potential as we know this is the balance of a very large accumulation where we found many powerful sections mixed alongside common groupings, so there is a potential to find some real treasure, starting with a large box full of mint stamps from the 1920's to the 1940's in quantity, packed with glassines and dealer cards full of earlier stamps, like 2¢ reds, Famous Americans, Presidentials, Farleys, 3¢ purples, etcetera in quantity which may not seem too impressive as a single stamp, but quickly add up in value when assembled into a large group such as this, among other better items, there appears to be a complete Famous American set, in addition there are over 50 high denomination stamps from the John DuPont which have been encapsulated by PSE and certified as such. The other section of this accumulation is in three smaller plastic bins full of used stamps, with many high denomination issues including some decent groups of used express and priority issues in quantity. Plenty of value there for the dealer willing to put the time into grouping these stamps into saleable units, generally Fine to Very Fine. Shipping charges apply - weight 38 lbs. (Image)
