2125   imageLarge Accumulation of Revenues, 1860s-1950s, hundreds of stamps on black approval cards and glassines, accumulated over the years and roughly grouped together in a way that eases breakdown, filled with many better items, including first issue revenues up to $50 with great selection of mostly perforated, with the occasional imperforate or part perforate issue, up to the higher denominations plus we noticed a stamp with extra perforations which you sometimes see on these issues and occasional multiples, next you will find second and third issues with some better higher denominations, next you find card after card of dollar value documentary issues, a couple embossed revenue stamped paper and ten cards of various private die proprietary issues. At first, we were considering writing this as our typical wall of numbers, but it occurred to us that the majority of the value would not be easily quantifiable with lists of better numbers as there are so many stamps in the mid value range, so we opted for a more general description to give you a taste of the contents. We thought it better to give this lot to our scanners to carefully video the entire lot, which will be available on our website. Lots of great potential with these types of lots, as there are often really great stamps hidden which sometimes only one lucky person sees to allow a chance at a real bargain. Condition and centering vary, generally Fine to Very Fine. Shipping charges apply - weight 1.2 lbs. (Video for this lot) (Video2 for this lot) (Video3 for this lot) (Image)
