2694   imageNepal, Semi-Specialized Collection of Stamps & Covers, 1881-98, a captivating collection comprising one binder of covers and stamps (note covers are shown recto with images of their backs verso); homemade pages presenting a slightly random collection of additional stamps, postal stationery and a few more covers; plus a handful of even more covers loose; covers range from stampless to modern, with most classics, offering a range of cancels and frankings, a meter, and a German Nepal Himalaya Expedition picture post card signed by team members; stamps range from classics (duplicated, with imperforate, pin-perforated and perforated varieties, with singles, pairs and blocks) to modern and include Officials, Revenues (20 off-piece, 8 on-piece) and eight forgeries (noted as such) including a full sheet of 64); approximately 70 covers and several hundred stamps in total; condition varies as to be expected, but generally fresh and sound appearing, Fine to Very Fine with much better throughout, fully imaged online. 2695   imageNepal, An Outstanding Selection of Better Mint & Postal History, 1886-1980. We note (5) Auction lots on the original sheets with descriptions of better mint stamps with multiples. A section of Siva Mahadeva issues with values to the 1r neatly arranged on stockcards in addition to more mint sets from 1949, 1954 and the 1956 Coronation plus 1959 UPU and more mint (23) covers or stationery entires also accompany with a wide variety of frankings and cancelations with some also registered altogether a very used group of key and better pieces. The stamps are very nice quality, Fine to Very Fine and the covers have normal slightly heavy wear for their usage. A worthwhile collection. Shipping charges apply - weight 1.2 lbs.
