2659   imageIceland, "Ice Breaker" Collection of Almost All MNH, 1873-2000, A glorious collection, entirely mint in two Lighthouse albums with slipcases and all stamps in mounts. And after turning over many of the key stamps in this collection, only a very few showed signs of being previous hinged. Yes, that means this is almost entirely never hinged with such better sets & singles as #15, 20, 23, 36, 51, 67-68, 83-85, 92-93, 97, 102-03, 113, 122, 124, 137-38, 142, 170-75, 182, 193-94, 195-98, 213-16, 217-27, 221b, 224b, 232-35, 240-45, 246-52, and from this point on looks complete to 2000 with many additional pages added for booklets. Terrific back-of-the-book too, like B5, C9-11, a MNH block of four of O3 with Beskow certificate (some separation noticed), O8, O12, O13-19, O23e as the middle stamp of a MNH top margin strip of three, O40-49, O50-51, O50a, O52, O68. And the collector was clearly thinking outside the box when they included additional items, such as die proofs of 163-64 & 166 (pair), a complete booklet of the 5a & 25a fish stamps of 1939-45 (Facit H8 I), and a couple of Duck stamps from 1991-92.
