1507   imageGreat Britain, Glorious Mint & Used Collection in Stockbooks, 1840-2017, In three Lighthouse stockbooks, a mouthwatering array of classics, which already by 1883 turns into a parallel collection of both mint & used side by side. Come 1976 it's entirely mint all the way up to 2017. Some of the better used include the following… #1-2, 5-7, 22, 26-28, 37-42, 44-46, 52-55, 57, 59-60, 74-75, 78-87, 90, 93, 95, 96, 98-107, 108-10, 111-22, 124, 126, 127-42, 173-76, 178,81, 222-24. No, I didn't mistype; the £5 Orange is here, as are other stamps cataloging over $1,000 each. Some very impressive mint too, like 98-107, 111-22, 127-38, 209, 249-51A, 309-12 and the huge amount of modern face. And have a close look at the scans, because you will notice a great many varieties included by the collector, such as various plate numbers, and color and printing varieties. Note that the numbers you see in the scans refer to the SG catalogue. Condition varies a bit, but generally Fine to Very Fine and much better than what we usually see for the 19th century. Shipping charges apply - weight 12 lbs. (PDF for this Lot) (Video for this lot) (Image)
