1331   imageExemplary Showman's Exposition Collection, 1876-1940, Interesting holding that begins with an 1876 Exposition Package Ticket then many World's Columbian Exposition items including a scarce unused Puck postal card, 15 different unused postal cards including #EX3538, EX40, EX42, EX43 and ten used postal cards including #EX63, EX66-68, EX71, EX73 uprated with 1c Columbians actually mailed to Germany, plus 13 different trade cards,and 37 advertising cards including 14 different for "Lightning Hot Drops" and 31 postal cards showing Paintings by Lawrence Earle by the Central Trust Co. of Illinois, harbound book "Columbian Souvenir Album" 14 x 10 x 1 inch hardbound book "The Dream City Illustrated World's Columbian Exposition" with front cover separated, four souvenir ribbons, rest of lot comprised of two unused 1899 Philadelphia Exposition illustrated covers, four Pan American Exposition items including 8.5 x 6.5 in. booklet of over one hundred views, four wonderful items from the St. Louis World's Fair comprising a used triptych fold out postal card, a used and an unused large hold to light used card and an 8.5 x 7.5 in. formal invitation to attend the Dedication Ceremonies, 7 post cards and a liberty bell card from the Pan Pacific Exposition of 1915 plus two admission tickets and five very scarce parking field service "Specimen" permits for the 1940 NY World's Fair, few faults to be expected but overall a Fine-Very Fine group, see the lot online.
