2007   imageWorldwide, "The Golden Tee" Collection of Golf Topicals, Postcards & Ephemera, 1900-2005, An incredible collection of everything golf housed in over twenty binders/albums with around 2,700 picture postcards in total, both mint & used, from the turn of the previous century to the 1990s. Many states, like Florida, Maine, Massachusetts, New York, North & South Carolina, Pennsylvania, Vermont and others are each in a single binder featuring golf courses from around the state and sorted alphabetically by town/city. In addition to the United States, there is also a binder with postcards from St. Andrews and other courses around the UK including over 100 from Canada. There's also a binder devoted entirely to miniature golf and another of premium postcards with a meticulous list catalogued by the collector indicating year, artist (when known), mint or used and catalogue value. Other binders feature worldwide stamps, souvenir sheets & booklets on the topic, first day covers including various cachets of the Bobby Jones & Francis Ouimet stamps, numerous photographs, and autographs by well-known golfers, such as Gene Sarazen, Johnny Miller, Lee Trevino, Zach Johnson, Jim Furyk and others. Beginning with two volumes on the Olympic Games, a well-filled collection from the 1896 Games in Athens right up to 1960 Rome. For those of you keeping score at home, here are some of the better sets by catalogue number… Greece used #117-28, 196-97, Czechoslovakia mint B137-39, Germany mint B91-92, Korea mint 85-86, Lebanon mint 18-21, 45-48, Monaco mint CB7-10, Peru mint C79-81a (also with Melbourne 1956 overprints), Syria used 133-36, 166-69, Uruguay mint 282-84. In addition, there is a homemade album on quadrille pages of the 1936 Olympics with over 30 covers including Germany 415-31, all margin copies with Berlin Olympic Stadium cancels spanning 14 covers. There's also B91-92 on separate covers, as well as mint & used postal stationery. No less impressive is a 6-album set in slipcases covering sports around the world.
