Auguste-Victoria/Spitzbergen" dateless cancel (Type 2 var.), with overseas postage paid by Norway Scott #47-49 & 51, all tied by Digermulen double-ring bridges of 18.VII.02; sent to a stamp collector, the card's message reads in part, "We are enjoying the glories of the midnight sun, but it is demoralizing to ones [sic] sleep….Here nothing but ice, and the thermometer 38°.", Very Fine, a scarce and appealing usage.
