4998 O   imageca. 1927, group of Washington-Franklins used in Shanghai, without the usual overprint of #K1-K16, these are hum-drum US stamps used half a world away; most cancelled by two-box "U.S. Postal/Agency//Shanghai/China." rollers, but note also a broken pair of #632 with boxed "4th Reg U.S.M.C./Shanghai, China" (center letters missing); one piece with multicolor franking with 5¢, 10¢, 30¢ and $1; block of four 30¢, block of six 12¢, single 11¢; generally fresh and sound, Fine to Very Fine, an interesting mix, and a nice addition to any collection or exhibit; see them all online.
