These undenominated dummy coils were reproductions of the self-adhesive 32¢ Flag Over Porch stamps and were distributed by Walmart retail stores on Daffy Duck Day, April 17, 1999, a promotion by the U.S. Postal Service in partnership with Warner Bros. and Walmart. The stamps were sold in strips of three in small refrigerator magnets in the shape of USPS Mail boxes (meant to be coil stamp dispensers). The mail boxes had one of three stamps pictured on the side: the 33¢ Daffy Duck (issued the previous day), the 32¢ Bugs Bunny, or the 32¢ Sylvester & Tweety. The stamps and the mailboxes were manufactured in China, and though appearing to be self-adhesive, cannot be removed from the backing paper without significantly being damaged.
