205 P 114P2a image1869, 3¢ ultramarine, small die proof ("Panama-Pacific") (Scott 114P2a), a drop-dead gorgeous example in alluring color and with razor-sharp detail, on the grayish-tinged paper as is customary for this issue; slightest indications of an almost unnoticeable hint of foxing, otherwise Extremely Fine, a simply lovely piece, only 3-5 of each were produced.

The Panama-Pacific small die proofs, consisted of a special printing of 413 different proofs made exclusively for the 1915 Panama-Pacific Exposition, discernable from "P2" Roosevelt proofs by the softer yellowish wove paper and somewhat larger margins of 2½ to 3mm
