The 1867 new currency 5c pair on cover (Sassone €750), 10c pair on cover (Sassone €1000), 20c on cover; 1868 perf issues (7 covers) with 10c, 20c and 40c frankings, including a couple covers with multiple denominations. Many different shades (figured at regular catalog values). Good variety of postmarks including single line cancels on stamps (Macerata on a Papal Legation letter front), boxed official cancels (Sassone €450), Genzano, Cornetto, Castelnuovo di Porte (Sassone €125 alone), also interesting transit and arrival postmarks. A good range of destinations, with covers to Trieste, Geneva, Marseilles and Malta. A superb basis for further expansion and possibly even more finds to be discovered.
