394 o   imageBavaria, [Cancels], 1834-57, thimble cancels collection, 34 in all on folded letters, each neatly corner-mounted on homemade pages in a slipcased Lindner hingeless binder; arranged by geographical area; note Bayreuth dotted-circle mark, an 1836 Bamburg-to-Hofheim letter with Registered "Chargé" straightline auxiliary, an 1847 letter from the Pensions Service (Rentenamt) of Gerolzhofen (with Neuses cancel), plus a half-circle 1847 Wirtheim letter (scarce marking from the period, as the town was lost to Prussia in the 1866 War); most in black (including one on a turned letter), but note a number of blue, red and even blue green cancels, Very Fine to Extremely Fine, nothing evil this way comes; inspect in full online.
