249 67-78, J11-J15 imageFrench Colonies: New Hebrides, 1941 (Oct. 28), "France Libre" overprints complete on cover to New York (Scott 67-78, J11-J15), a beautiful long cover franked on front by complete 5c to 10F regular issue set, with 5c to 1F Postage Dues on reverse, all tied by crystal-clear strikes of "Nouvelles Hebrides/28.Oct.41/Port-Vila" c.d.s.'s; reverse also bears a perfect strike in violet of a bilingual "Passed by Censor/New Hebrides/Condominium"; as a bonus, a range of French India "France Libre" overprints are included (#158-167, 171-174, 176-178, 180-183, 192 and 198-209), all mint never hinged and each signed Kasimir Bileski; inconsequential corner crease lower left, two areas of tape residue at left, lightly affecting 5c and 5F regular issues, nonetheless, a Very Fine cover, a simply gorgeous cover, penciled notations indicate "rare used" and "rare censorship mark".
