Cordially yours, Dan Beard", second is a signed reproduction of his drawing of some geese, Daniel Carter Beard (1850-1941), nicknamed "Uncle Dan", was an American youth leader and social reformer who, in 1905 founded the Sons of Daniel Boone, a program based on American frontier traditions which he later merged with the Boy Scouts of America.
