About 500 covers have stamps on them and the rest are slogan 'free' meter mail cancels. There are about 20 different slogan types distributed amongst the covers with and without stamps. These are very clear collectible cancels and run the gamut of topics such as 'SEND CHRISTMAS MAIL ON TIME!', 'BUILDING MONEY THROUGH BUILDING BLOCKS', 'TAKE A POST OFFICE GIRO ACCOUNT', 'ST. WENDEL GRAND PRIX 1955', 'CROSS COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIP', 'SMALL GOOD SERVICE CHEAP, FAST & SAFE', 'SAAR INDUSTRIAL FAIR', 'BUILDING EXHIBITION IN THE BEXBACH', 'FLOWER GARDEN', 'COME TO SHROVE MONDAY PROCESSION', and others. These have been offered on eBay at about $8 for a group of three and are of interest to the Saar as well as the Topical collector. Condition is Very Fine with no faults.
