2550 F   imageAfghanistan, Interesting Collection of Forgeries, 1871-1939, well arranged and classified, comprising 1871-76 Tiger issues single stamps (60+) and complete sheets of 15 (3, #10), 1877-78 Tiger issues single stamps (50+) and complete sheets of 40 (17, nearly all different) with "1294" (5) and "1295" (12, with Plates A, B, and C), postal stationery envelopes in the style of the "1293" issue (18, seven different types, three with "Caboul" cancellations), 1891-96 issues with the very scarce forgeries and approximately 25 covers franked with genuine stamps which apparently do not belong, and 1909-32 issues with "Bacche Saqquo overprints (5), 1931-38 Newspaper stamps, 1932 Independence Day 1af. pair on part cover, and 1939 Airmails with 5af. to 25af. in sheetlets of six, mainly Fine to Very Fine, a rare and useful reference.
