"Label Maker" Large Cinderella Lot of Christmas Seals & Other Labels, 1927-80s, A touch of foreign but almost entirely from the United States with an enormous amount of Christmas seals, from progressive color proofs in blocks from 1927-43 to stacks of full sheets and bricks of the booklets, for example, the 1930 stamp with nearly 500 complete booklets each containing 20 panes of 10. Many hundreds of full sheets overall including Boys Town, Easter Seals, the National Wildlife Federation, the Sister Kenny Foundation, and many others including 7 of the 10 stamps produced by the American Bank Note Company for the Eaton Paper Company in Pittsfield, Mass. "Needle in a Haystack" Nitpicker Accumulation of Used Definitives, Cut Squares & Precancels, 1910-62, Accumulated primarily during the first half of the 20th century, tens of thousands of stamps with hefty duplication mostly of the 1922, 1938 & 1954 definitives, some of it already checked for perfs, but still a lot to be identified, such as Washington / Franklins for watermark and later issues for tagging. And if you grab the Scott Specialized, there's a whole lot more to be on the lookout for, such as color varieties, wet & dry printings, and large vs. small holes for coils. Take the 2¢ Washington from the Fourth Bureau issue, for example (#599 & 634); both of these have a Type II, as well as a carmine lake variety, recuts, and in the case of the coil, double transfer and gripper cracks. In addition, a box of the 1922 issue, all with New York City precancels, and many examples of cut squares, some of which have up to nine different die varieties.
