Stamp Holder, 14K Gold Enameled. 31 x 25 mm., in the form of an envelope, with red enameled 2-cent Washington "stamp" and
black enameled circular date stamp reads "NEW YORK / 10 / 6 PM / 1913." Reverse features black enameled circular date stamp reading "PO / 10-24-13 / REC'D." Hinged top opens with flap embossed "PAT. JUN 24-90 / 14K." This rare stamp holder was made
by the Gorham Manufacturing Co. in New York, circa 1890. Outstanding condition, and one of the rarest American stamp holder. (Image) (Image2)

Stamp Holder and Match Safe, Sterling Silver, Circa 1895. 37 x 66 mm. Attractive ornate embossed design that includes a
secret panel marked "Stamps" that slides up to reveal a compartment for postage. Hallmarked "STERLING" with #5444 and 4-leaf clover maker's mark (Howard Sterling Co. in Providence, RI). A very similar holder was sold in our in our August 2022 Club
