Clapsaddle Holiday Postcards, these roughly 2,200 postcards highlight her art in all its manifestations, covering all the major (and a few minor) holidays, with strength in New Year's Eve, Valentine's Day, Easter and Christmas and somewhat smaller holdings of St. Patrick's Day, Memorial (Decoration) Day, Halloween and Thanksgiving; must be viewed to understand their importance in the history of American postcards; some signed, some not, per her custom; Very Fine, ex Lippman.

Clapsaddle was perhaps the most prolific and, for a time, most popular, illustrator of greeting postcards. She was, indeed, the only artist to specialize in this small format. Her designs were beautifully wrought and wonderfully printed, mostly by the International Art Publishing Company, but also by Wolf Advertising Company.
