1279   imageU.S., Nifty Mint Collection, 1893-1971, The main collection is in a very clean Scott National with all stamps in black mounts. Very nearly complete from 1935-71 with nice classics as well, from a decent selection of Washington/Franklins to other better sets & singles, such as #551-59, 568-71, 579, 662-65, 803-34, C2, C4, C18, etc. Oddly enough, some of the best stamps are in a virtually empty 3-volume set of hingeless SAFE albums. Only a handful of stamps are present, but they're good ones: 235-36, 240, 285-88, 296-99. The albums themselves are in like-new condition, with one volume for regular issues (1847-1931), one for commemoratives (1893-1968) and one for B-O-B with airmail, special delivery, postage due, etc. up to 2012. Also two stockbooks and some stocksheets with additional goodies, like 296, 479, 497 (pair), Q1-5, QE1-4. As a bonus, some NASCAR cards, one with Steve Grissom's autograph and an autographed photo of the Apollo 15 crew, namely Dave Scott, Al Worden and Jim Irwin, overall Fine to Very Fine, some additional pictures and video online. Shipping charges apply - weight 39.8 lbs. (PDF for this Lot) (Video for this lot) (Image) (Image2)
