The Bernard "Bud" Hennig Collection of Germany - June 17, 2026
A Germany specialist’s 20th century dream collection, formed over decades with patience and attention to quality. The sale begins with post-World War I issues of the Weimar Republic with singles, multiples and sheets, followed by extensive Inflation
Era items including extensive cover holdings by time period (years or, in some cases, months), plus solid offerings of WWI and WWII Forgeries and Propaganda issues, along with post-war Bund and DDR. Among the numerous highlights we note an unissued
1930 1RM Rheinstein Castle, a bottom right corner margin block of four 1943 20gr Hans Frank British Forgery for Poland, Inflation Era errors (missing surcharges, double prints, etc.), numerous Proofs, imperforates and mis-perforated items, with more
besides. Well worth the time to review, with all identified by Michel number.
