Another wide-ranging offering, particularly strong this week in fresh-to-market foreign material. The sale opens with a healthy mix of US including Essays, Trial Colors, and Proofs, followed by a nice sampling of Canada. Worldwide features extended runs of China (Republic and Taiwan, the latter including a Second Issue Palace Museum Paintings Specimen set), Japan, Greece (Hermes Heads to modern) and Yugoslavia, along with nice French Semi-Postals, a mint Iceland Zeppelin set, Portugal with the ever-popular souvenir sheets, Russia and Somalia under Italian Rule.
