2/- brown Punctured 'OS' ACSC 37ba (SG O49) with the Watermark Inverted ACSC 37a (SG O49w) Plate 1 Inserted 'JBC' Monogram single
ACSC 37(1)zc, a very light horizontal gum bend in the lower margin in no way detracts, lightly mounted, Cat $45,000+ with 'OS' Puncture.
Unique. The ACSC states that "six JBC monograms are recorded from Plate 1, comprising a mint rejoined strip of 6 ... two mint pairs and three mint singles (one wmk. inverted), plus a used block of 12 punctured OS" [our emphasis], but inexplicably
does not price the Watermark Inverted piece nor mention that it is Punctured 'OS' (for which "varieties with OS puncture are priced x3").

2/- maroon Punctured 'OS' ACSC 38ba (SG O77) Plate 2 marginal block of 8 (4x2) from the base of the sheet including AJ Mullett
Imprint block of 4 ACSC 38(2)zb with characteristic shaved 'Jubilee' Line above the Imprint, the lower-right unit with White Flaw below 'LI' of 'SHILLINGS' [Pos 2R57] ACSC 38(2)p, CTO with Melbourne GPO '14SE30' cds cancels ACSC 38wc well clear of
the variety, a tiny tonepsot in the lower margin & a small corner crease on the upper-right unit hardly detract, full unmounted gum, Cat $3350+ for the Imprint block mounted (unpriced used/CTO), the variety used and three CTO singles.
This is the block that enabled the plating of the White Flaw variety. The ACSC identifies this Imprint as from Plate 1 (as per the illustrations in footnote 9 under ACSC 37), but since the White Flaw under Tasmania variety on [Pos 1R56] is not
evident here, we expect that this is an error for Plate 2 (that is, the illustrations in footnote 9 are transposed) and have described this item accordingly. (Image1) (Image2)

the block to be from printing made after the transposition of the Vignette Plate. The ACSC states that "Although Ash imprint pairs are frequently seen, there may be no more than five surviving blocks of 4". (Image1) (Image2)
