1996 Health (Child Safety) 40c Child in Capsule with Teddy Bear sheet stamp SG 2000a (CP T68a), unmounted, Cat £800 ($NZ2000). With
the redrawn 40c Child without Teddy Bear for comparison. The proposed design caused an outcry because the baby should have been facing the rear of the car to comply with safety regulations. The stamps were immediately withdrawn & redesigned. However,
some were sold by NZ Post and commercially used examples are known. A similar example sold at our auction of 30.9.2015 for $625 (Sale 205 Lot 1113). (2) (Image1) (Image2)
