'MACLOUTSIE' cds, the reverse with superb 'PALAPYE/SP7/99' 24½mm cds transit (of Palapye Village; PO closed circa 1902) plus Welsh 'SWANSEA/OC2/99' and 'SKETTY/OC2/99' arrival cds, minor tonespots. Proud gives the LRD for the earlier 'MACLOUTSI' cds
os "4.9.99", which should be corrected to the LRD for this cds, which he shows as used 1892-1896 only. His other late date of 20.8.97 for #D1 should be disregarded. Sketty Village is 3km W of Swansea. (Image1) (Image2)

registration cachet in violet on the reverse where endorsed "One gold bar/Tati Concessions Ltd/Francistown". A gorgeous item, earlier than and superior to the three similar part- to large-part tags in the Large Gold Medal collection offered by Spink
