 6d dull grey-blue on Highly-Surfaced Paper Die II Plate 2 'CA' Monogram Removed single ACSC 19E(2)zh, tiny natural paper inclusion
at top, lightly mounted, Cat $1500 for a strip of 3 or $575 for a normal single in this scarcer shade. Although the corner strip of 3 is necessary to prove the removal of the monogram on the lower plates, here the single shows the partial excising of
the 'Jubilee Line' where the monogram was inserted on the upper plates, and the shape of the excision confirms that it stems from the right-hand side of Plate 2. A technically significant item. (Image1) (Image2)

just impinges on both stamps which are otherwise superb, Cat $12,000. The ACSC states "The imprint is perhaps the rarest outside the bicoloured high values. Only three blocks of 4 can be confirmed". Even pairs are extremely elusive. [NB: the 6d Die
