KENSINGTON W/AU8/98/ 1 ' arrival backstamp, redirected with West Kensington squared-circle of the same date & 'FARNHAMAU9/98' arrival backstamp, light toning on the reverse in no way detracts from the facial appearance. An impressive little item, of
which only three examples (all of different size or stock) are recorded used and of which this is the only commercial usage. Illustrated by G&S at page 93. This item clearly demonstrates that the multiple embossings were applied from right to left,
with the fifth impression being placed below the other four and also at the right. (Image1) (Image2)
