1907 & 1908 unpaid local PPC and underpaid British ½d Postal Card (creasing) with rare frankings of 1907 Crown/Double-Lined A
Postage Dues 2d or 1d ACSC D58 & 57 (SG D55 & 54) both tied by pencil cancellations, Cat $800 & $300 respectively on cover but stated to be the only recorded examples of any stamps from this issue on cover. The first item is Ex Hugh Wynn: illustrated
in "The 1907 Emergency Printings of NSW Postage Stamps" at page 80. Both Ex Larry Birke: sold at our auction of 2.8.2013 for $660.
