very fine clearly indentifiable large-part strike on BSAC KGV Admirals 1½d brown horizontal pair. Handbook Very Rare. It is unclear whether an office of this name existed or whether the datestamp was used at Gadzema PO 20.9.1898; closed 23.11.1920.
However, Proud states that on 1.4.1909 Gadzema PO was moved from the Railway to a site next to the Giant Mine, suggesting that a second office continued to operate at the Railway, presumably using this datestamp. [Hartley District, Southern
