182 # imageCofA WATERMARK: 5d yellow-brown with seriffed 'SPECIMEN' handstamp applied diagonally as ACSC 127x but unusually in black, no gum, Cat $1500+, for violet ink. These specimen stamps were displayed at the Melbourne GPO. The ACSC states that only two examples are recorded. If, as implied, they both have the violet handstamp, then this is an additional example and the only one with the handstamp in black.
